Weight transfer with heel rise
Stand in a doorway or with a chair on either side at hip level.
Place your hands on your hips.
Practice leaning and transferring your weight onto one leg.
Allow your hip to make contact with the target.
As you do so, let the heel on your opposite side lift.
Hold for a moment and then return to even standing.
Repeat towards the other side.
