Standing in midline - body awareness

Stand with both feet flat on the floor.
Feel how your weight is evenly distributed between your feet.
Feel how your weight is evenly distributed between your heels and your forefeet.
Sense the whole contact area of the soles of your feet and the floor and let go all grasping of your toes.
Feel the floor as if it were your friend and let it hold the weight of your body.
Let go all unnecessary tension from your ankles, knees, thighs, hips, gluteals, sides of your torso, shoulders, back of your neck, jaw and face.
Allow your spine to find its balance line through your feet, pelvis and the top of your head.
Allow your breath to be free.
You can close your eyes, if comfortable.
