Sit to stand with a ball between the knees ('ADL' Sit to stand transfer, arms crossed - adducting against ball)
Sit upright in a chair.
Move yourself forwards onto the edge of the chair.
Place your feet on the floor hip width apart.
Squeeze a ball between your knees throughout this exercise.
Lean your body forwards, and stand up from the chair without using your hands.
Control the movement as you slowly sit back down.
