Sit to stand practice with wheelchair support (Wheelchair)

Sit in your wheelchair with your feet resting on the floor, and ensure the brakes are applied.
If safe to do so, shuffle towards the front edge of your wheelchair.
Position your feet a shoulders width apart flat on the floor.
Place your hands on your chair for assistance.
Stand up whilst tensing your buttock muscles, using your arms for support, then slowly sit back down.
Repeat.
