Single-leg stand on sound limb - close to support (adaptive)
Stand and take support from a firm object such as a table.
Shift your weight onto your sound limb and lift your other leg from the floor.
When ready, let go of the support and attempt to keep your balance.
Use the support to regain your balance if needed.
