Single leg squat on step (with support)

Start in a standing position on a step holding a poll on your side.
Stand on your affected leg, with your foot against the edge of the step.
Lower yourself with your knee and gently touch the ground with the opposite foot. Alternate touching the toe and heel to the floor.
Make sure your knee doesn't turn inwards.
