Shoulder horizontal abduction in side lying

Lie on your good side with a weight in your affected hand and your head on a pillow.
Keep the upper arm out straight in front of you, perpendicular with your body, with thumb pointed down.
Lift your arm up until your hand is pointed towards the ceiling.
Make sure you do not roll back with your body.
Control the movement back to the start position, and repeat.
