Shoulder Abduction in Machine

Sit up straight on a shoulder abduction machine. Grasp the handles with your elbows bent to 90 degrees or support your arms against the levers. Seat height should be adjusted so that the shoulders are in line with the axes of movement of the machine.

Lift elbows to the sides until your arms are at approximately shoulder level.

Note: Do not shrug your shoulders or tense your neck.
