Sit in your wheelchair with your feet resting on the footrests, and ensure the brakes are applied.
When ready, use your arms to help support you in leaning forwards and rest your upper body against your thighs.
Allow your arms to rest on either side of your wheels and hold a weight in each hand.
Next, keeping your elbows straight pull your shoulder blades together to lift your hands towards the ceiling.
Pause briefly before returning to the start position, and repeat.
