Resisted isometric big toe adduction for intrinsic strength

Sit upright in a chair and loop a resistance band around both of your big toes
Move your feet apart to generate tension in the band
Your knees should sit directly above your heels with your toes pointing directly forwards
When ready, pull your big toes away from each other, keeping one still
Hold, and repeat
