Pelvic Floor Lying Prone - 'Going up in lift' Analogy

Lying face down with a pillow under your stomach.

Relax your stomach muscles and take a few deep breaths before beginning.

Contract your pelvic floor muscles by imagining the floor of those muscles needs to rise up towards your abdomen like going up in a lift (elevator). The contraction should feel controlled and your buttock, thigh and stomach muscles should be relaxed.

Hold the contraction and repeat for the prescribed amount of time.
