Passive hip external rotation at 90 degrees flexion (Hip external rotation PROM, leg bent 90/90 in supine; 01)
Lie your child on their back.
Bend the affected leg until the hip is at 90 degrees.
Lift their heel up so that the knee is also bent to 90 degrees.
Place one hand on the inside of the knee, and the other on the outside of the ankle.
Keep the knee still and rotate the lower leg inwards.
Hold this position.
Required equipment: Assistant, Adjustable plinth/bed
