Partial weight bearing with forearm crutches step-to gait ('Gait training' Step to, with forearm crutches - partial weight bearing)

Stand up straight with your crutches in each hand.
Keep part of your weight on your unaffected leg and the other on your affected.
Your therapists will instruct you how much weight you are allowed to put through your affected leg.
Move your crutches forward in front of you.
Step your affected leg just behind the crutches.
Push through the crutches and bring your unaffected leg level with your affected leg.
Move the crutches forwards again and repeat this pattern.
