Eccentric soleus strengthening

Stand on your toes on the edge of a step with your knees bent. Take support.

Raise up onto the toes. Lift one leg off the step and slowly lower the heel of the leg to be exercised towards the floor. Bring the foot that was off the step back to the step and use that leg to rise back up onto your toes.
