Countermovement jump (hands on hips) - shallow (Jumping, on the spot, into a shallow squat, hands on waist)
Stand up straight with your feet shoulders width apart.
Place your hands on your hips.
When ready, perform a shallow squat movement then forcefully jump into the air as high as you can.
Ensure you keep your legs straight when in the air and aim to land on the same spot as you started.
Bend at your knees upon landing to absorb the impact.
Return to the start position and repeat.
