Sit upright on a stable chair by a table. Support the forearm of the hand to be practiced on the table with your hand over the edge and palm facing down.
Your assistant should support your forearm on the table with one hand whilst gently bending your wrist down towards the floor with the fingers curling down into a fist with the other hand.
Do not force the wrist. Bent the wrist and fingers only as far as is comfortable.
